We don’t think that we can help our guests get a better life style both in the scene of business and pastime by providing only functional facilities.
We adopted some stylish elements, such as the equipments for the guest rooms and furnishings of the lobby, to help our guests spend a pleasant time in Fino.

That is the way that Fino is designed.

HOTEL Fino OITA is located in the commercial center of Oita-City, where is surrounded by beautiful hills, oceans, and rivers.  Oita was an international trading city where became prosperous by actively trading with foreign countries in the past.  Like Oita-City where is formed by coming across new things and fusing well with them at all times, HOTEL Fino OITA is also a stylish hotel, and those who are conscious in design can be surely satisfied with it.  The basic color of Fino building is black that is one of the Japanese traditional color.  Its appearance is remarkable, but blending with the street.  The tender and warm lights from its facade seem like the “lamplights” of the town.  “Lights to greet” is the key word of design for HOTEL Fino.

Men of today do their work until late at night under the bright fluorescent light, and suddenly switch off all the lights just before going to bed. Then, as soon as the alarm rouse them out of bed in the morning, they turn on the lights and start a day without any warm-up. Men’s life seems to be manipulated continuously by “ON/OFF” of the power source. Tools that we use made rapid progress during this century, but human body itself cannot be changed anything at all. That is why we think that there should be a timing and space where we can smoothly slide between “ON/OFF” both mentally and physically. HOTEL Fino OITA wants to be the one. We hope that our guests feel this “slide” when they move in the time and space in Fino, from the reception desk in brighter lights to the guest rooms in warmer lights.
